Book bio:

Chris Taylor was born in 1970. In the cot, he was hypnotised by a Mungo Jerry 45 on repeat. Raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, a Geordie. On leaving school, he put his tail on the donkey of engineering and went on to obtain two engineering degrees in chemical and environmental engineering. He worked as an engineer and manager for international consulting firms in the UK. After his first marriage vapourized, he emigrated to New Zealand in 2003, and transitioned into coaching in his early forties.

Chris is a social extrovert, a connector of people. A curious professor of people. An empath. An altruist. He loves psychology and the narrative of mind workings. The tickings and tockings of humans. Hence his penchant for coaching, diving in and between live propeller blades daily.

He takes part in the random ghost train experiences of public speaking and improvised comedy. He is learning to play guitar with his ten thumbs, and he keeps fit and active in regular gym bludgeonings. Such martyrdom is punctuated with a gentle game of snooker with his eighty-six-year-old gentile friend Stephen. He prays Stephen does not croak at the table. Chris is married to Angela and has four amazing daughters, which accounts for his baldness and bleak bank account.
