Travel is my passion and my inspiration!

I live, study and dream about it on a daily basis. I love to see new countries, meet new people, and learn how other cultures live and experience the world.

My name is Jana Schleehauf, originally from the Czech Republic. I moved to Australia in 2004 for 5 years before moving to New Zealand over 12 years ago.

I love to surf, walk, hike, bike, and snowboard, so moving to New Zealand and being surrounded by ocean and mountains was a dream come true! I have travelled throughout Europe, North America, South America, Asia & the Pacific.

My experience in the travel industry is quite varied. I started in the travel industry in 2001 as aircrew for Lufthansa before moving to Australia to study English and a degree in tourism. I have also worked in the hotel industry in Australia and New Zealand. From 2013 to 2017 I was a retail travel consultant for Flight Centre and later, House of Travel and then NZ Travel Brokers. I have recently made the move to work with First Travel Group.
