I am a fully qualified financial adviser with many years of experience in personal insurance and investment advice. I work for Haven, one of the largest advice practices in NZ, so I will be able to answer any questions you have around KiwiSaver and personal insurance, as well as guide you through the various providers and policies, so we can identify what is best for you.
KiwiSaver is a voluntary savings scheme to help you save for your first house and/or retirement. I help you get the most out of the scheme by explaining in detail how it works and helping fine-tune the settings to help you achieve your goals sooner.
Life Cover – helps look after your loved ones in the event of your death or a 12 month terminal illness diagnosis by providing a lump sum payment which could pay off any debt including a mortgage, cover the cost of a funeral, provide a cash buffer and if required ongoing income.
Income or mortgage Cover – makes sure you can always pay your mortgage, rent or expenses in the event you are unable to work for a health reason.
Trauma Cover – provides a lump sum payment to replace income or cover medical costs if you are diagnosed with one of the listed serious illnesses like cancer, heart attack or stroke.
Health/Medical Cover - provides funding to help cover medical costs in the event you need access to medical treatment without the delay of the public health system, and provides a bigger range of treatment options, e.g. Non-Pharmac cover.
