Nadia Scott is a Pathways Connector and Careers Advisor at Ashburton College, helping students discover their strengths, explore future opportunities and make informed decisions about life beyond school.
Nadia works alongside students to connect classroom learning with real-world experience. She supports them with career exploration, subject choices, further study, training opportunities, job preparation and work experience across a wide range of industries.
A key part of Nadia’s role is building strong relationships with local businesses and organisations. These connections create valuable opportunities for students to visit workplaces, meet industry professionals and gain practical experience in careers they may be considering.
Through personalised guidance and meaningful community connections, Nadia helps students build confidence, develop workplace skills and take their next steps towards employment, further training or tertiary study. She is also a valuable point of contact for local employers interested in supporting and inspiring Mid Canterbury’s future workforce.
