I’m Jayden Waddell, a 17 year-old entrepreneur, founder/trustee of Donate For Daffodils, and owner of Rendered Reality, where I build custom websites for clients.
Donate For Daffodils is a student-led charity movement raising funds and awareness for people affected by cancer - and yes, sometimes that means doing bold things like throwing teachers out of planes for a cause. In New Zealand, 1 in 3 Kiwis will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, but to us, that is not just a statistic. It represents families, students, staff, and communities carrying the weight of diagnosis, treatment, recovery, remission, and life after cancer.
Through Donate For Daffodils, we are turning that reality into action by empowering schools to lead exciting, community-driven campaigns that bring people together and create real impact. After the success of Drop For Daffodils at Lincoln High School, which raised $6,000 and achieved far stronger results than traditional school fundraising benchmarks, we are now working to grow this into a repeatable nationwide model led by young people, powered by communities, and focused on supporting those who need it most.
