Lucy graduated from Otago University in 2018 with a LLB and BSc majoring in Psychology.  Lucy kicked off her legal career in Queenstown, working in resource management and advising clients in relation to property matters and undertaking private client work.

She moved back to Canterbury in 2020 to move closer to friends and family, having grown up on a farm in rural Canterbury. During this time, Lucy worked for an Agri business practice in Ashburton for three years.

Lucy has experience advising clients on a wide range of matters including

• employment matters


• conveyancing


• wills and EPOAs


• commercial transactions

as well as attending court for clients to obtain “work /limited licences”.

Lucy specialises in employment law and has attended several mediations, acting for both employers and employees on complex employment matters from personal grievance claims, to advising clients in relation to restructures and redundancy procedures.
