Glenlothian Farm is a unique, family-friendly animal farm park located in a peaceful rural setting between West Melton and Rolleston. Home to more than 20 rare and heritage breeds, the farm gives visitors the opportunity to see, feed and interact with a wonderful collection of animals, including Bennett’s wallabies, Enderby Island rabbits, Canterbury Blue pigs, Arapawa Island goats, Shetland ponies, alpacas, peacocks and many more.

Owner Glenda Goatley is a passionate member of the Rare Breeds Conservation Society of New Zealand and is dedicated to helping protect and preserve some of the country’s rarest animal bloodlines. Through Glenlothian Farm, Glenda provides a fun, hands-on experience while also educating visitors about these special breeds and the importance of their conservation.

The farm welcomes families, school and community groups, birthday parties and private outings. Visitors can enjoy picnic and barbecue facilities, craft classes, studio hire and locally sourced products available from the onsite craft shop.

Warm, welcoming and filled with animals that are clearly loved, Glenlothian Farm is a hidden Selwyn gem where people of all ages can slow down, connect with nature and experience something truly special.
