Meg is a solicitor in Harmans’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team, where she works across a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. Her practice includes assisting clients with matters involving employment, contract, property, construction, and trust issues, as well as general civil litigation.
Civil litigation in New Zealand encompasses disputes between individuals, companies, or organisations that are resolved through the courts or alternative dispute resolution processes such as mediation. Meg’s work often involves analysing complex factual and legal issues, preparing court documents, and supporting clients through each stage of the dispute process — from initial advice through to resolution.
Meg holds a Bachelor of Laws but also has a tertiary background in English and Education. With a strong background in communication and analysis, she takes a practical and strategic approach to her work, aiming to achieve efficient, fair, and durable outcomes for clients.
Having grown up in Central Christchurch, Meg values contributing to her local community and is proud to be building her legal career in the heart of the city.
