Sophie grew up on the Kapiti Coast and lives in Waikanae Beach. She studied Law and Politics at Victoria University and was admitted to the roll of barristers and solicitors in 2013. Since then, Sophie has gained a wide range of experience in general practice, alternative dispute resolution, and in regulation.

Sophie joined Kapiti Law in 2022 as a Senior Solicitor and was promoted to Associate in 2024.  She practices primarily in the Property Law area, but also advises in respect of Relationship Property, Trust Law, Elder Law and general commercial advice to Businesses.

Outside of work Sophie has a young daughter who keeps her busy. When she has spare time Sophie enjoys trail running and tramping, mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
