Simon has over 20 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication and Welding.
He started his apprenticeship in NZ back in 2004, building motorhomes, before moving to Australia, where he gained 12 years of extensive experience as he moved from a young tradesman into management for a large Brisbane-based mechanical engineering company. He then went on to work for himself as a contractor, offering specialist site fabrication and welding services and delivering design, fabrication, and installation services.
He has experience across a multitude of industries, including oil and gas high-pressure applications, mining, food and beverage, dairy, and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. More recently, he has been working as a Project Manager in the structural steel and balustrading market in the UK.
Simon has international experience in mechanical fabrication and welding work and has always excelled at anything he has put his mind to.
Our Services:
Project Management.
From initial idea through to delivered end product, we offer a complete project management service. This can include scoping the project, scheduling, testing, liaising with other stakeholders, and site supervision.
- Solidworks AutoCAD 3D Design.
We like to create designs so we can get client input to ensure project accuracy. We can create detailed part assembly and workshop fabrication drawings. We can also do FEA simulation studies and simulated loads.
- Fabrication and Welding.
Fabrication and welding of various metals. We can also provide various other metalwork cutting, machining, and finishes.
Installation.
Installation of your project onsite. These services include safety documentation, installation and welding of the product, and management of contractors.
