Angela Burgess is an integral member of the Commercial & Property team at Timpany Walton, bringing with her valuable experience in commercial litigation.
She graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Otago and served as a senior solicitor in Christchurch prior to pausing her legal career to home school her children. At Timpany Walton, she thrives on the challenge of dissecting complex legal matters and converting them into clear and practical advice that clients can trust.
A lifelong South Canterbury resident, Angela grew up in Pleasant Point. She and her husband raise their three teenage children locally. Their household also includes three black ragdoll cats (and the occasional chicken). When she’s not working, Angela enjoys tackling projects around their bush-like lifestyle block (she isn’t afraid of a chainsaw), reading engaging books, and relaxing with quality television.
With her commitment to clarity, local roots, and balanced approach to both commercial and litigation work, Angela is a trusted legal partner for clients of Timpany Walton seeking grounded, intelligent solutions in property and business matters.
